Patricia Ann Porter, age 62, of Amherst, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with Cancer, at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Center on Monday, September 28, 2009.

Born in Moncton, NB, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Lily (MacDonald) Pauley.

A caring and devoted person, she always looked forward to family gatherings, going to the cottage and spending time on the beach. She loved her cats and music. Having worked for many years as a personal care technician, she would go on to study and graduate as a mature student in Cosmetology and was a hairdresser for many years.

She will be deeply missed by her sons Stephen, Moncton and Gary, Toronto, former husband Bill Porter, Amherst; sisters, Peggy (David) Long, Sackville, Shirley (Craig) Robichaud, Amherst, brothers Danny (Karen) Allen, Sackville, Stephen, Edmonton, AB, Walter Allen, Sackville; best friend Barb Stewart, Amherst, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by sister May Richards.

 A funeral Service was held on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 11 am, Rev. Don Miller officiating. Burial followed in the Warren Cemetery.
