Stephen Gregory Dallas 45, Indianapolis, passed away September 10,2004. Steve was born on October 7, 1958 to Dr. Fred and Dr. Mary (Booth) Dallas. Steve grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from North Central High School in 1977. He then attended Miami University of Ohio where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology in 1981. Steve's continuing desire to help others led him to achieving his Masters of Education with a focus on vocational and rehabilitative counseling from the University of Georgia in 1998. Steve devoted himself to his current job as a mental health care manager for Adult and Child Services. Steve enjoyed being Physically fit. He spent many memorable summers climbing in the mountains with his friends. He began playing hockey in elementary school and played through high school, college, and as an adult.  Steve's kindness and courage is an inspiration to his family and friends. Steve is survived by his loving family: his parents, Fred and Mary (Booth) Dallas; his sister Carol and her husband David Farr; two nephews, Andrew and Eric.
