Mathew was a gifted athlete, a fun person to be around. He was big and strong, loved to play baseball for the Franklin Parish High School Patriots. He threw hard with good control of the ball. He could hit a power drive or an average. he wouldn't let anything get him down...not even cancer. he played baseball while taking his treatments. even though he lost his hair and weight he still had high spirits. doctors found a tumor in the lining of his heart. he strived to overcome it...fought a hard battle...now he is at peace. Mathew died on November 27,2006 in LSU hospital in shreveport. those who knew him loved him dearly. those who didnt will know his memories through this site. this is for his loving family. we all feel this time of crisis.
