My Grandmother was a kind a gentle woman. I didn't get the chance to know her as well as I would have like too, and meet her in person. But our time together even if it was by phone was filled with kindness. I will treasure always the gifts she gave to me of the swan candy dish that was a wedding gift of her mother and father. I will forever be glad to know that her own mother lived to be a 102, Luella.

I am sure there is much that could be said about her life, but I will forever cherish the picture she sent to me of her with her sister Norma. Her eyes and smile are so kind and gentle. I was given up for adoption by my birth mother Sandy, and needed to locate someone to help me due to my own daughter's illness. Gram was so kind to me and seeing that no one in the family besides her knew about me and my brother, she was a tremendous help.
